Recently BBM was updated with some features which includes Custom PIN, which allows new and existing users to create their own personalized BBM PIN. New contacts can add you to BBM using this Custom PIN, making adding new contacts easier than ever.
NOTE: This service is not free, thus you would have to pay for your subscription which costs US$1.57 per month, thats like #337.55 in naira.
A custom PIN must meet some certain criteria which includes:
- PIN needs to be 6-8 characters long.
- Can include both letters and numbers (PINs are not case sensitive)
- Special characters are not accepted. i.e / = !
Activate Your Custom PIN?
- All you have to do is download the latest BBM on our phone
- Download for IOS
- Download for Android
- Download for Blackberry
- Open BBM on your phone
- Click on the BBM shop icon
- Scrol down to subsriptions, then select the Custom PIN Subscription
- Purchase a Custon PIN Subsription
- Create your PIN
